Edmon Marukyan has appealed the decision of the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia to reject his interim motion to suspend the Government's decision to remove the image of Mount Ararat from the stamps of border checkpoints.

On October 28, 2025, Edmon Marukyan submitted an appeal to the Appellate Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia against the decision of the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia dated October 23, 2025, in case No. ՎԴ/17734/05/25, which rejected the interim motion to suspend the operation of point 4 of part 1 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision No. 1299-Ն of September 11, 2025.

The appeal demanded to annul the decision of the Administrative Court to reject the interim motion and to suspend the operation of the challenged provision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision No. 1299-Ն until the final judicial act on the case is rendered, as otherwise the said decision will enter into force on November 1, 2025.
