During the upcoming U.S.–Armenia–Azerbaijan trilateral negotiations in Washington, the parties will sign a framework peace document, which will also include a provision granting the United States exclusive rights to develop a strategic communication route passing through the South Caucasus. This was reported by the Reuters news agency, citing its official sources.
According to the agency, the road will be called the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (abbreviated as TRIPP).
“The road will be operated in accordance with Armenian law; however, the United States will lease the land allocated for its construction to a consortium for the creation and management of the necessary infrastructure,” Reuters’ sources claim.
