Document Signing Ahead of Elections? Negotiations in Abu Dhabi

Press Release on the Outcomes of the Meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Abu Dhabi

On July 10, 2025, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan met in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) and discussed various aspects of the agenda related to the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan interstate relations.

The parties reaffirmed that bilateral negotiations represent the most effective format for addressing all issues pertaining to the normalization process. On this basis, an agreement was reached to continue such results-oriented dialogue.

Acknowledging the progress made in the delimitation process, the leaders instructed the respective state commissions to proceed with practical work in this direction.

The parties also agreed to continue bilateral negotiations and to strengthen confidence-building measures between the two countries.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed their gratitude to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the warm hospitality and for organizing the bilateral meeting.
