The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia is usurping the judicial power of the country. Members of Parliament act as judges and issue verdicts from the podium of the National Assembly.
They are trying to project and extend the actions of Archbishop Bagrat onto political prisoners Samvel Karapetyan and Archbishop Mikael as well.
According to Article 66 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia:
A person accused of a crime shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law, by a court judgment that has entered into legal force.
