Why Pashinyan's promise to jail rivals still works: The question of billions remains

Why does the topic of the "formers," loot, and illegal property continue to remain on Armenia's political agenda years later, and why is Nikol Pashinyan able to use it in the political struggle time and time again?

Is it possible to simply close the topic of the formers and offer society a new agenda? Or is the issue much deeper - does society still have a demand for justice and for receiving answers regarding the origins of wealth accumulated in the past?

I also speak about why attempts to bypass this topic with other agendas in 2021 and 2026 did not work, why the presence of forces linked to previous authorities continues to give Pashinyan a political advantage, and why being in the opposition cannot exempt anyone from the necessity of answering public questions regarding the origin of their property.

If there is a public demand, it is impossible to silence or blur it. It is necessary to understand where it stemmed from and answer the questions that have remained unanswered for years.
