The government is devalued: why the super-presidential (super-prime ministerial) system must be changed

This video discusses the deep-seated crisis of Armenia's current super-prime ministerial governance system, the necessary separation of powers, and the lost authority of the presidential institution. It emphasizes the importance of figures who stand above political ambitions within state leadership.

The perspective of strengthening Armenian statehood is discussed, based on historical Christian values, the adoption of the English political model, and a re-interpretation of the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church. In this context, the candidacy of Archbishop Mikayel is viewed not as church politics, but as a step toward protecting the rights of political prisoners and establishing pan-national legitimacy.

During the conversation, the current state of civil society is analyzed within the context of Hegelian philosophy. It is noted that despite the currently distorted content of civil society institutions, they remain an irreplaceable part of the state's recovery. The speakers declare their readiness for close and direct cooperation with the public sector in future parliamentary activities to overcome personal ambitions and prioritize supra-political issues of national importance.
