We will appeal to the International Court of Justice: Azerbaijan is destroying our culture

Azerbaijan has destroyed the Christian culture of Artsakh, leveling churches, khachkars (cross-stones), and cemeteries to the ground in an attempt to completely erase the Armenian trace. The video details a strategic provision according to which the Republic of Armenia must file a lawsuit against Azerbaijan in the International Court of Justice, based on the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

It is presented that after the ethnic cleansing of 2023, this was the legal path that could have stopped Azerbaijan's actions; however, the proposal was rejected by the current authorities. South Africa's lawsuit against Israel is highlighted as a legal precedent and proof that international toolkits are accessible and applicable even for developments occurring in other territories.

The video argues that a policy of silence and concessions does not bring peace but, on the contrary, encourages Azerbaijan's appetite for the territories and resources of the Republic of Armenia. According to the presented vision, only the adequate protection of one's own interests in international courts and the preservation of identity can become the real guarantee that will prevent further aggression and break this cycle of national humiliation.
