Why we participate in elections: A bid for a high-quality parliamentary counterweight

The video analyzes fundamental issues regarding the continuity of Armenia's statehood, national identity, and economic security. It discusses the necessity of a new liberal-conservative political concept that seeks to intertwine Christian values and theological thought with modern democracy and the idea of a 21st-century state.

A central place is given to the decision to participate in the upcoming elections, which is presented as a new stage of ideological struggle. It is emphasized that this participation does not aim to pursue typical pre-election promises or engage in populism. Instead, the focus is on forming a qualitative alternative in parliament that will allow the country's governance to emerge from its state of chaos and establish a truly state-centered agenda.

During the conversation, the potential catastrophic consequences of a sharp change in the foreign policy vector and the severance of traditional ties are presented. It is stressed that endangering Armenian-Russian and Armenian-Iranian economic relations could lead to a new wave of mass emigration and the collapse of the economic system. As a primary symbol of sovereignty and a guarantee of energy independence, the vital importance of maintaining the Nuclear Power Plant is discussed in the face of regional pressures aimed at weakening Armenia's positions.
