When Regions are Emptying and Yerevan is Bursting: The Real Price of Mismanagement
In this episode, we discuss the impact of Yerevan's centralized development on the country's overall system.
We address the issue of electoral participation and its influence on the formed government.
We analyze a number of Yerevan's urban management problems: traffic organization, congestion, as well as the high volume of construction permits (over 20,000) and its consequences. We also discuss management approaches and problems of responsibility distribution.
A separate reference is made to the fact that the concentration of various services and opportunities in Yerevan leads to the fact that residents of the regions are often forced to move to or regularly visit the capital.
