Major clash around Iran: the Nakhichevan incident and the start of the energy war | Platform 93

During this program, we discussed the US-Israel attack in the direction of Iran and its potential regional consequences. We addressed the case of the two drones that appeared in Nakhichevan, trying to understand whom the UAVs were targeting and what context these events might have.

Azerbaijan-Iran relations were also discussed, assessing their current nature and possible developments. A separate reference was made to Iran's actions in the international energy market: we analyzed whether Tehran is trying to create a crisis by striking energy infrastructures linked to Western countries.

During the discussion, we also tried to understand whether Iran has the political or strategic support of Russia, China, and India, how events might develop in the near future, and whether a continuation of military operations is possible, or if the US and Israel are operating with a limited or phased military strategy.
