Against the backdrop of the war in Iran, Armenia is being prepared to provide a new road to Azerbaijan
Amid the tension in US-Israel relations and the growing military escalation around Iran, new risks are forming in the region. The question of what role Armenia might play in these developments is also being discussed.
During the program, we address information that as early as February, certain circles in Armenia were actively lobbying for the idea that in the event of potential military operations against Iran, Armenia should be ready to provide a humanitarian road to Azerbaijan.
At the same time, Iran is launching retaliatory strikes against US and Israeli military bases in the Persian Gulf region. Against this background, reports have also spread regarding the use of two unmanned aerial vehicles in the direction of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, after which the President of Azerbaijan raised an outcry at a high level.
In this situation, several important questions arise: are the ongoing events simply a coincidence, or are they part of a broader political calculation? How is it that even before military operations have fully commenced, the issue of Armenia providing a potential corridor for Azerbaijan is already being discussed?
