Pashinyan received an award, while the military-political leadership of Artsakh received life sentences. Yesterday in Abu Dhabi, Pashinyan received the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, and already today the sham trial of the military-political leaders of Artsakh in Baku concluded, and the first verdicts became known.

Former President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan, former Commander of the Defense Army Levon Mnatsakanyan, former Deputy Commander of the Defense Army Davit Manukyan, former Speaker of the National Assembly Davit Ishkhanyan, and former Foreign Minister Davit Babayan have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The Baku court sentenced former Artsakh presidents Bako Sahakyan and Arkadi Ghukasyan to 20 years of imprisonment, as there is a law in Azerbaijan according to which persons over the age of 65 cannot be sentenced to life imprisonment.

It is interesting to know what the "crime committed" by the aforementioned individuals consists of, if the entire international community has recognized their rights. Moreover, for years, negotiations were conducted with them through the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group; their views were taken into account and possible solutions were discussed. In all international platforms, these people were subjects of negotiations and discussions.
