3.5 billion drams from the budget for embezzlers and their henchmen. And what's a pensioner supposed to do with 10,000?

Pashinyan, in a top-secret order, paid 3.5 billion drams in bonuses to employees of 16 government agencies: ministers, members of parliament, deputy ministers, department heads, and so on. This is despite the fact that just a few months ago, Pashinyan said our pensioners would be left with 11,000 drams. For example, Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan received 7 million drams, or about $18,000, in bonuses, or, as they're called, incentive payments. Adding taxes to this amount, Srbuhi Galyan received approximately 8 million drams. Labor and Social Affairs Minister Arsen Torosyan and Deputy Finance Minister Arman Poghosyan are keeping the amounts of their bonuses secret. They say, "We'll declare it, and you'll find out," but the declaration system doesn't allow us to know how much an official's salary was in a given month; the declaration only lists the annual income, including remuneration.
Journalists asked Deputy Finance Minister Arman Poghosyan whether he considered bonuses in the millions of drams legal, even though Pashinyan dismissed the idea of raising pensions by 10,000 drams as ineffective. Poghosyan noted that he believes he has a better understanding of public expenditures, their individual directions and amounts, but is unfamiliar with this episode.
Our compatriots must reach out to the opposition forces and demand a united opposition, setting aside all ambitions and differences.
