Ahead of the 2026 elections, the people have a clear demand from the opposition
Even before the holidays, in an interview, I presented in detail the roadmap for changing the government. I have declared with full responsibility: the only way to an unequivocal victory is the consolidation of all opposition forces and a struggle with a single opposition electoral list to defeat the current authorities.
Today, all real opposition forces claim that their goal is to carry out a change of government in the country. I take these statements as a basis and believe in the words spoken.
Therefore, if we are not deceiving one another and our people, if we are sincere in our goals and truly fighting not for one or a few parliamentary mandates, but for systemic change in the country - a change of power - then speaking against a united list is simply incomprehensible.
Yesterday, the Geopolitica Telegram channel, which has about 14,000 followers, conducted a poll with the following content: In what format should the opposition participate in the National Assembly elections to remove Nikol Pashinyan from power? 32% - In separate teams (each team collects its own votes, then they take power through a coalition in the National Assembly) 68% - In one single list (the main forces unite in one list)
68 percent of respondents believe that the main opposition forces should unite and defeat Nikol Pashinyan with a single united list.
The question arises: Dear opposition figures, if our goal is the same, then what greater disagreements can prevent us from fulfilling the people's demand with united forces?
There is also an alternative: we can fail to meet the people's demand, participate in the elections separately, be crushed as in 2021, dissipate the votes that could have ensured victory, resulting in a miserable presence in parliament, and then complain that the people did not participate in the elections sufficiently, which is why we failed to win.
The people have formed their demand well before the elections and require opposition forces to put aside all ambitions and disagreements, unite, and change the government. If this demand of the people is ignored by the opposition forces, then in the future - during the election campaign - they can no longer expect anything from the people.
