Today, Pashinyan finally met with Aliyev following the latter's three statements containing the phrase "Zangezur Corridor," to which Pashinyan had previously responded from a "safe distance."
Recently, a PACE delegate known for his pro-Armenian initiatives also asked Prime Minister Pashinyan whether the creation of the "Zangezur Corridor" serves Armenia's interests to the same extent as Azerbaijan's.
Instead of answering this question, Pashinyan condemned the PACE delegate's "Zangezur Corridor" phrasing and inquired as to where the term originated.
One wonders: did Pashinyan, during his meeting with Aliyev—who put these terms into circulation—condemn his rhetoric today and urge him to use agreed-upon terminology? Did Pashinyan receive an answer to his question about what Aliyev means by the "Zangezur Corridor?"
Because the press release, it seems, contained no mention of it...
