Why did Aliyev and Pashinyan decide to nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize?
The backbone of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been Artsakh. In 2020, part of it was captured through war; in 2023, the rest was taken through ethnic cleansing.
What I mean is that Aliyev seized the “fruit of enmity,” and Pashinyan “peacefully” accepted it. Therefore, I think that if such an outcome of the conflict is worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize, then Pashinyan should have nominated Aliyev for his actions in 2020 and 2023, while Aliyev should have nominated Pashinyan for “peacefully” accepting this result.
